Sabine Schmidtke is professor of Islamic intellectual history in the School of Historical Studies, Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. She has published widely on Muslim and Jewish intellectual history and focuses on the study of Shiism. Among her recent publications is, together with Hassan Ansari, Studies in Medieval Intellectual Traditions (Lockwood Press, 2017). She is also the curator of the Zaydi Manuscript Tradition Project hosted by Hill Museum & Manuscript Library in cooperation with the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton.
