Séjours à l’université de Pékin

DEADLINES

l Nomination deadline: March 30, 2019
l Online application: February 20 to April 15, 2019
l The hard copies should reach us by April 30, 2019
l Admission letters: Late May/early June

PREREQUISITES

(1) Nominees should be non-Chinese nationals. Chinese nationals (including Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao) could not apply.
(2) Nominees should be above 18 and under 45 of age.
(3) Nominees in their graduate year should have completed all necessary credits for graduation at home university before they start the exchange.

DOCUMENTATION

For undergraduate and master students who will take courses, they should select the General Visiting Student Program (G1), and provide the following documents:
(1) The signed Application Form (stick one shoulder-length photo).
(2) Official transcript in English, signed/stamped by authorized parties.
(3) The signed Study Plan Form.
(4) One original recommendation letter which must be written in Chinese or English and hand-signed by a professor or scholar.
(5) One official nomination letter from the International Office as a second recommendation letter.
(6) One photocopy of applicant’s current and valid passport (the page with personal information and the passport type “ordinary”).
(7) HSK certificate (if applicable).

For master students, Ph.D. and Post-doc students who will conduct research only, they should select the Senior Visiting Student Program, and provide the following documents:
(1) The signed Application Form (stick one shoulder-length photo).
(2) Official transcript in English, signed/stamped by authorized parties.
(3) Two recommendation letters, which must be written in Chinese or English and hand-signed by professors or scholars.
(4) A research proposal (no less than 1000 characters/words, in Chinese or English).
(5) One official nomination letter from the International Office as a second recommendation letter.
(6) One photocopy of applicant’s current and valid passport (the page with personal information and the passport type “ordinary”).

All documents should be ORIGINAL or otherwise VALIDATED (stamped and signed) by authorized parties, and should be in English, or Chinese.

TRANSCRIPT

All transcripts of exchange students will be sent directly to the international office of the home university. For students leaving in January, transcripts will be sent in March, and for those leaving in July, transcripts will be sent in September. If a student needs an extra copy, he or she can ask for it with extra cost.
